Great War Literature Publishing LLP: Chichester, GB

"Established in 2004, Great War Literature is one of the world’s leading educational publishers of resources that support the learning of First War Literature. Located in Chichester, the company is an innovative independent publisher. Great War Literature has not forgotten the traditional values though. The company ensures each resource has been thoroughly researched and the brings over 25 years of experience in the study of this particular genre. Great War Literature is at the forefront of creative education innovation in what we publish and how we publish. Great War Literature has digitised all its content and works hard to protect the rights of its authors, meet consumer demands and generate additional business opportunities. And alongside digital developments, acting and thinking “green” is one of our priorities; we publish where possible on environmentally-friendly papers and use the Internet for most of our communications. This last year has seen the company jointly developing an e-Learning solution specifically for schools, colleges and universities. This exciting project will comprise complete educational courses allied to sympathetic tours of associated locations or events. This is due to launch in quarter four of 2009. Great War Literature also takes its social responsibilities seriously too. 2008 saw the formation of the Great War Educational Trust, a not-for-profit organisation, that funds the development and provision of resources for those students who have learning difficulties or are undergoing long-term treatment and are required to study First World War literature. It also funds free access to the GWLSRC online resource for selected schools and colleges."
